What does the training involve?

GemChem offers a Facility Security Officer (FSO) Training course for both groups and individuals. Ben Shelley, our FSO expert, is a former United States Coast Guard inspector that uses his knowledge and experience to ensure trainees leave with the understanding and resources to succeed as a facility security officer. The course is based on the 2002 Maritime Transportation Security Act.

• Individuals are invited to train at our facility in Lititz, PA.
• Group training is typically done on-site at your location.

The training Ben offers is intended for an individual with little or no knowledge of Maritime Security. Our FSO course will give individuals a solid base of knowledge toward their FSO certification. The training can be tailored to address the specifics associated with your facility.
